Listen to this episode for a practical roadmap and Rx for exactly where you're at on the feelings spectrum. Staying engaged is a requirement. It's the assignment. But that doesn't mean we have to ignore our human side and power through. Au contraire, mon ami.

Episode Summary:

You can feel sad and angry and still be in alignment with your soul's purpose. This radical truth serves as the foundation for navigating our current reality—a pressure cooker of global challenges that astrologers have been anticipating for decades. While the powers that be count on our collective burnout and division, we have tools to resist this manipulation and reclaim our power.

The journey begins with breathing. Drawing from military research on "sense-making"—the $3.85 million program exploring intuition and premonition in combat situations—we learn that regulating our nervous system creates the foundation for clear thinking and effective action. Box breathing (four counts in, hold, out, hold) serves as an accessible reset button available anytime, anywhere.

From this centered state, we can better assess what we're experiencing: Are we numb and overwhelmed? Drowning in grief? Seeing red? Stuck in mental loops? Each state requires different approaches—gentle self-care for freeze responses, safe expression for anger, focused action for overthinking. The key isn't avoiding these emotions but moving through them without judgment.

Remember that you're likely carrying more than your personal feelings—you're also holding energy for the collective. If you resonate with this message, you've probably signed up for a role in holding light during these times. This responsibility may feel particularly heavy for those whose comfort has historically been prioritized over others' safety.

Trust that your soul chose this timeline deliberately. The synchronicities and intuitive hits you've experienced were preparation for these higher-stakes moments. There has never been a more powerful, empathetic, technologically literate, and globally connected conscious generation than ours. This is our time to step into our highest timeline and inspire others through our example.

What one tangible action can you take today to declare to the universe that you're in charge of your energy? Your voice matters in this soul-level revolution that spre

Speaker 1:

Next up on Soul Level Human. Here's something controversial. You can feel sad and angry and still be in alignment. The difference is that you still have a pulse on the soul level, truth underneath, and you're still sitting with and honoring the feelings happening on the human level with space and compassion. There's no judgment. This is what you've been practicing for, this is what the tools are for, this is what you came here for, and it's a tall order. I know that. You know that, but there has never been a more powerful, empathetic, more technologically literate and globally connected conscious generation. This is our time and it won't be easy, but when has anything ever been easy? You didn't come here to play safe. You came to remember your power and build what comes next. I'm Sylvia Beatriz, psychic medium and intuition coach, and this is Soul Level Human, the podcast for truth tellers, cycle breakers and soul-led revolutionaries. You didn't come here to bypass the chaos. You came here to lead through it.

Speaker 1:

On Soul Level Human, I am sitting here at about three o'clock in the morning recording this just hours before I wanted to go out. I've had the kids homesick with me this week with hand, foot, mouth. They felt totally fine, except for some really short-lived and sporadic sicky hours, and I mean that's best case scenario, right? So they're fine and they've been wreaking unstructured summertime havoc on my home and my schedule. And then our dog, dudley, tore his ACL last week and I've been helping him figure out how to get around with our stairs and not wanting to use our doggy door and I have just surrendered all of it. So I've just been scrolling more than usual in order to cope with the feeling of not being able to actually start or stop anything and keep momentum and a train of thought in the middle of mama watch this. Mama wipe my butt. Mama Dudley needs to go outside. Mama, can I have my iPad? Can I watch a show? Can I have a popsicle? Can I have a snack? I'm bored. Why can't I watch a show yet? Oh my God, it never ends. I love them. And summertime parenting is really something in the middle of an apocalypse. Right, and just like you, I am totally human. I have dared to let myself feel a glimmer of hope, reaching out to various representatives this week senators earlier than that right to try to get a more humane outcome, and I've been utterly disgusted and heartbroken by the gleeful celebration over Alligator Auschwitz, because that's really what it is and Loomer's very personal comment about it but also not having the space to fully feel anything in the middle of parenting and late night movie marathons. It's wild. It's wild what we're being asked to live through right now, and I am an introvert who has had to learn very intentionally to hang out with extroverts and confidence speaking humor.

Speaker 1:

Social interactions of any kind did not ever come naturally to me and as a mom much less a psychic, medium, energy sensitive mom I do not function well with no breaks or time alone. I can hold a lot. I have more patience and empathy than a lot of people out there do, and for that same reason I require time alone to reset my own energy. And I always used to joke that I'm a nights and weekends kind of parent. And when I was younger I thought, oh my gosh, I would be the best mom, I would be the best teacher. And after having two actual kids of my own, I realized you know what I would not. I would not be a good teacher, I would not have the energetic bandwidth for that. I don't know how teachers do it. Bless you. You should be making six-figure minimum with full benefits, but that's a whole other conversation. So, yeah, I'm a nights and weekends kind of parent and for a long time I actually felt a lot of shame for being okay with that amount of time investment. And I realize now that actually I am so hyper present and attuned on every level when I'm with the kids, when I'm doing my work, when I'm with my people, that I actually can't function as an adult in society if I'm also expecting myself to hold that marathon level for crazy amounts of time. I can't. The math doesn't math right, and I don't say that to brag at all. I'm just a really intense person and I'm finally growing into it and being okay with all of it at 40 years old.

Speaker 1:

So what's my point in sharing all of this? I'm just wanting to normalize, letting yourself be yourself and taking the shoulds out of it. You know what feels good to you. You know the things that help you feel more like yourself and you probably know what it feels like when you're starting to feel a little crispy around the edges because you're probably not doing the things that fill you back up at all. Like me this week and last week Actually last week was worse, but you know I've let myself just do what I got to do, have an epic cry and then actually going towards feeling, all of the feelings has allowed me to be on the other side with whatever it looks like, just actually letting go of the reins of what I thought it was going to look like, and that's okay too. So sometimes you can hold more, sometimes you can hold less, and all of it is completely normal and okay, especially these days.

Speaker 1:

We are in a pressure cooker over here in the States and across the world. Truly, this is an insane time, and I'm not an astrologer, but all of the ones that I trust and that I learn from have been anticipating in various levels of dread forever, and it's something that we really couldn't even fathom. Laurie Rivers always talks about 2025, being a beginner astrologer in the 80s and 90s and losing sleep over 2025, and what would it actually mean to be in this time? Well, here we are and there's no way that we could have fully been prepared for everything that's happening across the world and the volume of everything that's happening across the world. So here we are we are in a pressure cooker and the powers that be are counting on us to not be able to hold this impossible amount of input and shock and fear, and they're counting on us to burn out and panic. They're counting on us giving all of our power and energy away. They're counting on us starting to look at each other sideways, tired, angry, terrified.

Speaker 1:

People are so much easier to dominate and separate and dehumanize. That's what we know from history, right? So, with all of my expertise in energy, it's time to focus up. But first, in order to do that, we have to let ourselves be human, without the shoulds, because the shoulds are just resistance and roadblocks If we're just going to let ourselves be, just as a first step. After that, we can do whatever we can do to move the energy. We all have different tools, and I'll go into that in a little bit. We regulate our nervous system, we calm our racing mind, and then we'll have the clarity to figure out which way is up, which way we want to go, what we want instead, what our next action step is and this is not just something I'm making up. Navy SEALs have to learn how to do this in order to do what they do right. They are trained in how to keep their cool in high stress situations so that they can make the best decisions and take the right actions when the stakes are life or death. This is the foundation that keeps people safe.

Speaker 1:

In a 2017 article in Time Magazine called the US Military Believes People Havea Sixth Sense. I'll link it in the show notes. It starts off by saying in 2014, the Office of Naval Research embarked on a four-year $3.85 million research program to explore the phenomena it calls premonition and intuition, or quote-unquote spidey sense, for sailors and Marines. End quote to say. According to the Pentagon, the program was born of field reports from the war theater, including a 2006 incident in Iraq when Staff Sergeant Martin Richburg, using intuition, prevented carnage in an IED or improvised explosive device incident. Commander Joseph Cohen, a program manager at the Naval Office, told the New York Times these reports from the field often detailed a sixth sense, or spidey sense, that allowed them to respond to a novel situation without consciously analyzing the situation. The article goes on to say that they now call this skill sense-making. They now call this skill sense-making.

Speaker 1:

In official defense department literature, sense-making is defined as a motivated, continuous effort to understand connections in order to anticipate their trajectories and act effectively. End quote. These are highly trained and knowledgeable individuals who have as much logical 3D information and intel as possible. But how they integrate their previous education and synthesize it with rapidly changing environments in real time and turn it into decisive and effective action is a totally different thing. And that's what I'm talking about with integrating intuition, spidey senses and regular life here on Soul Level, human. This is my entire point.

Speaker 1:

In 2016, I knew I got a download during the debates that if Trump got elected, that we would be on the timeline that would actually revisit everything from World War II and that we would get a front row seat to how all of it actually happened here in the US. I didn't understand it, I couldn't believe it, I didn't want to. And in 2019, when I taught my first round of Lighthouse that's the transmission I was getting that it was my job to teach regular people to activate their soul side so that they could bring those skills and awarenesses into their normal life to make the world a better place. And at that point, the 2016 download was far enough in the past that I didn't want to touch it. It was way in the back of my mind, stuffed down as much as possible. But now, in 2025, I see the big picture, I get it now how we show up right now and in the next months and years will absolutely have an impact. We're already seeing the consequences play out around us and we're already seeing that there are many of us who are not paying attention because it hasn't affected them directly yet, and that's not even touching climate change yet. This is all the manufactured crises that we're dealing with right now.

Speaker 1:

In order to make sense, sense-making, right, in order to make sense of the world around you, you must be in the driver's seat of your energy and that's your attention, your body and your mind. And the most basic tool that you always have at your disposal is your breathing. When you're in fight, flight, freeze, your breathing is shallow or you're even holding your breath. So right now, if you do nothing else, breathe. Let's do four counts of box breathing, so that's four in through your nose. You're going to hold it at the top, then out through your mouth and hold it for four. So I'll count us off. So we're going to go breathe in hold at the top, three, four and out. Hold two, three, four and in. Hold two, three, four out. Hold two, three, four out. Hold two, three, four in. Hold two, three, four out. Hold two, three, four in out. Hold two, three, four in Hold two, three, four and let yourself come back. Doesn't that feel better? You didn't actually do anything that you're freaking out about. You just breathed for a second, but it helps If you're yawning. Good, that's a sign of energy moving in your nervous system, coming back into rest and digest.

Speaker 1:

And there are a ton of easy techniques to use to reset your energy back to baseline. You can cross your midline, touch your right hand to your left knee and then switch left hand to right knee. Did I get that right? Touch your right hand to your left knee. I feel like I'm doing the hokey pokey. Touch your right hand to your left knee, then switch left hand to right knee or crawl on your hands and knees for a little bit. And what? Crossing your midline, getting your left and right body in on this for a little bit. It brings your right and left brain hemispheres back into coherence so that you can start calming your body down. And that comes your emotions and that helps everything.

Speaker 1:

Come back to baseline and then you can think straight. What we want is to support our body through the wave of stress and emotion, not hot potato it with eating or scrolling or drinking or ostriching, and also not staying stuck in it and holding on to it, all rendering ourselves totally immobile and catatonic and completely useless. So, yeah, so after that, first thing to do then you do a foundations check-in. My family will tell you as they probably roll their eyes that my first thing is always breathing. That's something you can do when you're laid up on a couch like a potato. Even if you're annoyed by it, you can still breathe. And then, after that, you treat yourself like a plant Water, some sunshine, maybe a snack, maybe a nap. What's next depends on what you're finding as you go. What's next depends on what you're finding as you go.

Speaker 1:

If you're numb and overwhelmed, you're stuck in freeze. It's okay and it makes sense. So be so gentle with yourself. And here's where it's time to ask for help, to do something small. Even getting up to brush your teeth might feel like a lot, so you can even start with humming. Have you heard that fan song on TikTok? I'm obsessed. It's so haunting and beautiful. It doesn't even need to sound pretty, just hum. That helps. You can keep your eyes open or closed. You can add some rocking back and forth or tapping on your body, crossing your arms and just hugging yourself. All of those are options that you have available to you, even if you're laying down on the couch totally frozen. That's a great place to start, and all of these things are grounding and so helpful If you are in a bottomless pit of despair and you're grieving and heartbroken and without a place to put all of this energy.

Speaker 1:

So it's simply leaking out of you and you're crying and you're overflowing. That's okay, that makes sense. If you need a good cry, have a good cry, but that might require you carving out some time and space to actually let yourself go there. And grief is weird. Grief is normal and there's always more. It's not linear, right, and it's an ongoing situation. So don't be surprised or upset if there's another day or another minute or another hour that you actually find some more tears to cry. It's normal and it makes sense. So if you're feeling like you're leaking, give yourself some space to actually go there instead of just barely having it drip drip.

Speaker 1:

If you're seeing red and everything and everybody is pissing you off, you might be terrified or feeling unsafe to feel or exist in your body and it's time to take back your power safely. Take up space vocally by having a good scream. Can you take a hike and yell into a ravine? Can you drive on the freeway with the windows rolled down and scream till you're done and all out of screams? Can you go to a rage room and break stuff with some loud music playing while you wear safety goggles? Bonus points if you ask a friend to do this with you. Raging with a friend usually turns into tears and then into laughter or, at the very least, relief, because you're not alone.

Speaker 1:

If you're stuck in questions and overthinking, you might be trying to control the situation, anticipate the infinite number of variables that exist between the present and the future imagined scenario and solve a problem before it even exists in your experience personally. So can you pick one action item, a low hanging fruit that many of your possible outcomes would benefit from, and actually take some steps to look into it. Get real world specific on what that looks like and what your next step is. So do that, and then that's one version of getting an idea that's just in the mental soup out into the world, out into your body, out taking the action in the 3D world. So that's really great to stop the spiral of thinking If it's in the middle of the night and you, I don't know, don't have access to internet, for example, you can just verbal vomit, mental vomit, on a page. Get all of that energy or as much as you can anyway out on paper. Make diagrams, make charts. If you have to Go full on a beautiful mind about it, just get it out of your brain and get that energy out through your arms and your fingers and onto a page. That's going to be really helpful for you.

Speaker 1:

In all of these situations, it's basically time to be with the underlying shadow, without being afraid of it, trying to control it, trying to should it out of existence or running away from it, and remember it feels big because it is. You are feeling your own feelings, but unless you've adjusted your settings specifically, it's highly likely that you're also carrying the energy for the collective and your own ancestry. I came across a TikTok creator the other day saying that you need to detach from feeling for the collective, to just be with your own experience, because it's all too much, and I can see where she's coming from. There is something to be said for putting on your own oxygen mask and being aware of how much you can hold. However, if you are listening to this podcast, there is a very high chance that you came here and specifically signed up for a role in helping to hold the light for the collective. And in order to hold the light, whatever, you have your hands full of needs to be moved through, not ignored, not held on to, processed through. And the responsibility of working past your comfort level is slightly louder and heavier for my white people, people in a white body whose comfort has been prioritized over the safety, the actual safety of others. So that's another filter that you can sit with.

Speaker 1:

Either way, you're in the driver's seat, you're in charge of your settings, with your intention, always, and as above, so below, and so the way that I can demonstrate that in a micro level is when my kids are feeling sick. In a micro level is when my kids are feeling sick or they're having big feelings, I give them the tools to be with the feeling and process through it. Whether it's a skinned knee or a nightmare, or issues with friends at school or actual physical symptoms of feeling throw upy, as we call it, I'm with them. I'm not taking away their feelings. I'm not taking away or taking ownership of their experience, but I'm with them and guiding them through various tools and practices to be with and work through the experience, I'm able to set my own settings to assist in that, to take some of the edge off. But I'm not doing it for them. I'm modeling how to move through it and I'm setting the intention, with my spirit team, that I'm assisting in the process and I know it's working. When they start yawning or their symptoms subside, or I start releasing energy through yawns or muscle twitches or energy burps, which is so sexy, yeah, but it works. That's how I know it's working. So in order to do this, you have to make sure that your baseline, you're coming in clean, you're already not holding on to anything that's not yours, and as you go through it, when you're done, you're also not going to be holding on to anything that's not yours. So you only sign up to support in this way when you're in integrity, honestly in a place to hold it.

Speaker 1:

So one thing about me I'm not afraid of feelings, I'm not afraid of the dark anymore. I know now how powerful I am, even if I'm in a dream. I don't have nightmares anymore. I know how to lucid dream. I know how to work with them. I know that I'm powerful. I know my boundaries. I know my spirit team. I know my support. I know my own energy. I know how to tell if I'm in a place to hold more. I know how to adjust my settings and ask for less. This is all active. This is all stuff I go deeper into in Lighthouse, which I'll be announcing later this month. If you'd like to sign up for the priority list, just go on my website and you'll be the first to know.

Speaker 1:

But this is all on purpose. I can work with the energy in real time, know when to ebb and flow along with it. I am working through it and I can powerfully assist because I'm in a place of being centered. I 100% know when I'm in my own shit. I absolutely don't have space to hold more for the collective. Are you kidding me? But I also know and have the discernment for whether it's really, truly, I cannot hold anything more, or if it's, I am scared of it, or if it's, I can't touch that. It's I can't, it's not mine, and that's going to vary based on every situation and every single day, moment to moment. So only you can know where you're coming from truly, and only you are the authority on your life and your energy.

Speaker 1:

So if you want to know when you're out of alignment, what does that even look like? If you're out of alignment, you don't feel powerful. You don't feel in control. Feel powerful, you don't feel in control. You don't feel like yourself. You feel far away from the truth. You might be consumed by fear you might be trying to control other people or control the outcome of the situation. And alignment, on the other hand, feels like truth no drama. Other hand feels like truth no drama. The sky is blue. Yep, my name is Sylvia Yep.

Speaker 1:

Integrity, consciously choosing and allowing your human self to exist without the shame and the shoulds. And here's something controversial you can feel sad and angry and still be in alignment. The difference is that you still have a pulse on the soul level, truth underneath, and you're still sitting with and honoring the feelings happening on the human level with space and compassion. There's no judgment when there's no alignment. There's also a layer of judgment happening like an overlay, sitting on top of the feelings, and it might be a cerebral acknowledgement of yeah, yeah, yeah, soul level. I know this, I get it, la la la, but I am so pissed that this is what it is and I know I shouldn't be. I don't believe in shoulds, but I do give myself space to notice what I do want and what I don't want, and I let myself feel the feelings when there is space between what is and what I wish would be. Instead, and that is the surrender piece.

Speaker 1:

There is no amount of knowledge that will ever mean that you can't make a mistake or that you will know everything there is to know. There is no amount of control that will ever mean that nothing will ever go wrong. There is no amount of panic or stress that will ever help you solve a problem quickly, efficiently and with space and depth and wisdom or compassion, and there's no amount of judgment and shame that will ever help you feel loved and worthy of a positive action or outcome. So take a moment to breathe into the stretch that you're already in, that you maybe didn't realize you're in. How much deeper can you let go into this stretch Without trying to learn more about it or control it or stress about it or shame yourself about it? Or stress about it or shame yourself about it?

Speaker 1:

Take a deep breath in Acknowledge you're being stretched. Acknowledge that this is outside of your comfort zone, that there's a million things you'd rather be doing with your summer 2025, that it makes sense to feel resistance to all of it, without any clear answers? And as you breathe, how much deeper can you let yourself stretch into this feeling? How much can you soften into your body and your emotions without tightening up to block yourself from feeling? Can you allow yourself to trust that your soul did come here for this time? And that trust comes easy when the stakes are low right? It's not just for when you get your perfect parking spot, it's not just for when the person you think of magically calls you in the next second, the person you think of magically calls you in the next second, and it's not just when you're thinking of your loved one who passed away and in the next moment, their favorite song comes on the radio. That's the low stakes. That's when you're learning what you can trust.

Speaker 1:

And if you're listening to this, still, if you're listening to my voice right now, I know that you have a calling on your heart. You're feeling that tug from your soul and something about what I'm saying is resonating with you, and that is how I know that this trust muscle that you've been building is for this time, for right now, not just for when it's easy, not just for when the stakes are low. It's for when you're scared, when you're angry and overwhelmed. This is what you've been practicing for. This is what the tools are for. This is what you came here for, and it's a tall order. I know that. You know that, but there has never been a more powerful, empathetic, pathetic, more technologically literate and globally connected conscious generation.

Speaker 1:

This is our time, and it won't be easy, but when has anything ever been easy? And if you're still listening, we came here to make things right with our powers combined right With our care, bear stare. We came here to change the world, and this is not the time to think small. So do what you have to do to care for yourself, exactly where you are right now, and connect back, choose again, anchor into the intention what is true, what you came here for, anchor back into the knowledge that you have experienced things that defy logic, things that defy the laws of this 3D place. Remember that the impossible is possible and even though the experts are saying one thing and that logic is saying another thing and even the worst case scenario possible of astrology is saying another thing you still have free will, you still have agency. You can still be in charge of your own settings and you will determine where you fit in this puzzle. You will determine how you move through this time and how you show up will have a ripple effect that will also enable other people to step into their power, their energy too.

Speaker 1:

And if you're listening, before the 777 portal, do something to anchor and reclaim your agency, your power today. What is one tangible, small or big? I don't mean to dampen you, I'm not in your way. What is one thing you can do to declare to the universe today that you are in charge of your timeline and your energy, that you recognize what job you're here to do, even if you don't have the specifics of what that actually looks like yet. Knowing that you are here to anchor the light by stepping into your own highest timeline, that's enough, and that job description will evolve as time goes on. Reclaim your power, reclaim your energy and see that reflected back to you in your 3D and whatever that looks like for you.

Speaker 1:
